Influence of perceived social support in virtual reality on pain processing
In this project, the influence of perceived social support in virtual reality on pain processing is examined. The project focuses on the role of the knowledge about the socially supportive interaction partner. More precisely, the underlying control (agency) for the virtual interaction partner is varied. The aim of this project is to acquire deeper insights into the factors on which the effect of social support on pain processing depends.
