    Research Interests

    • Mindfulness-based pain management for chronic pain - Investigation and development of interventions to alleviate chronic pain, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue

    • Side effects of standard therapies for fibromyalgia - Qualitative and quantitative examination of adverse effects and optimization of therapeutic strategies to enhance patient safety and satisfaction as well as therapeutic outcomes
    • Mindfulness-based, Relaxation-based & self-compassion techniques as psychotherapeutic interventions - Development and evaluation of interventions leveraging relaxation techniques with a focus on progressive muscle relaxation (PMR), mindfulness and self-compassion to promote psychological well-being
    • Neurobiological correlates of mindfulness - Study of the neural mechanisms and brain activity patterns influenced by mindfulness-based practices, utilizing electroencephalography (EEG)
    • Cross-cultural adaptations of mindfulness-based treatment programs - International collaboration on the cultural adaptation, translation, and validation of clinical questionnaires and therapeutic manuals for mindfulness-based interventions
